Afflatus Gravures adopts sustainable solvent-based inks
IIT Roorkee recently came up with a water based inks. Afflatus Gravures innovated a technology for flexible printing while using the water based inks with laser cylinders. The study aimed to replace solvent-based ink with water-based ink to reduce volatile organic compound emissions and carbon footprints in gravure printing without affecting overall printing quality in order to fill a research gap.
