BMC ramps up garbage cleanup initiatives

In a special drive conducted between 15 and 23 August, the BMC removed 952-metric tonnes of garbage from six of Mumbai's beaches: Girgaon, Dadar-Mahim, Juhu, Versova, Madh-Marve, and Gorai.
