FSSAI targets alcohol manufacturers over flavour additives and age claims

The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has issued formal notices to alcoholic beverage manufacturers following targeted investigations into unauthorised flavour additives and deceptive maturity claims on product packaging.
