The machinery is designed and manufactured at Irundin’s advanced facilities in Spain to ensure European quality

PrintMach LiquiPAX has entered into a joint venture with Spain’s leading bottling line manufacturer, Irundin. This partnership brings together decades of Indian market expertise and over 40 years of European engineering excellence to deliver filling and bottling solutions to the Indian subcontinent.

Under this joint venture, PrintMach LiquiPAX will exclusively drive business, sales, and service operations across India and neighbouring markets, while all machinery will be designed and manufactured at Irundin’s advanced facilities in Spain — ensuring quality, precision, and performance.

Capable of processing up to 800 bottles per minute (48,000-BPH), Irundin’s high-speed filling lines (represented by PrintMach in the Indian subcontinent) are designed to transition manufacturers from traditional semi-automated processes to a fully integrated, high-volume production environment. Its versatility allows precise handling of liquids, ranging from water and premium spirits like whisky and gin to wine and high-viscosity edible oils.

The technical core of the system focuses on maximising overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) by minimising the frequent stoppages associated with lower-tier machinery.

To protect profitability against rising raw material costs, the lines utilise slight depression or electronic flow meter technologies to ensure accuracy in every drop, effectively eliminating overfilling and product giveaway. Furthermore, Irundin’s QuickChange technology facilitates tool-free, rapid format changes, allowing manufacturers to switch between SKUs — such as 200-ml and 1-litre bottles — in record time to maintain supply chain agility.

Hygiene and shelf-life extension are managed through the CleanFlow Pro design and oxygen control features. The advanced clean-in-place (CIP) and sterilisation-in-place (SIP) architecture meets the stringent standards of the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) while reducing water consumption by 40%.

For the premium wine and juice export markets, the O² Control technology provides vacuum-free inertization, extending product shelf life without the need for chemical preservatives. These features are housed in modular monobloc to pentabloc systems that save floor space and reduce synchronisation errors between machines.

Operational reliability is enhanced by Data Stream, an IoT-enabled predictive maintenance system. This technology is specifically relevant for plants in remote Indian industrial hubs, as it detects potential mechanical failures before they occur, ensuring 24/7 production. Additionally, patented anti-drip filling valves maintain a clean conveyor environment, reducing secondary cleaning costs and ensuring a high-hygiene shop floor.

The system prioritises sustainability through optimised resource utilisation and minimal wastage. Rated highly for trouble-free performance and ease of operation, the equipment is engineered for longevity in the most demanding industrial environments.

By bringing Spanish engineering excellence to the heart of the Indian subcontinent, the PrintMach and Irundin collaboration provides the high-speed throughput and reliability required for Indian brands to compete on a global stage.
