Mumbai-based Swastik Technopack’s comprehensive semi-automatic perfume filling and packaging line is engineered to standardise output consistency across perfume, body mist, and room freshener applications. The 11-stage system addresses the challenge of handling volatile liquids by utilising flameproof components and pneumatic operations across all critical stations.
The production sequence begins with the idle roller conveyor and 2-head glass bottle airjet and vacuum cleaning machine, which processes up to 40-bottles per minute using dual-action compressed air and vacuum suction. Substrates are transferred via a variable-speed slate chain conveyor to the 8-head rotary vacuumetric filling machine. This unit utilises a level-based vacuum principle, drawing product until a pre-set nozzle height is reached, ensuring uniform fills across various bottle shapes with a 15-minute changeover time.
Post-filling, the line integrates a portable pump dip tube cutting machine, capable of handling tube diameters up to 4-mm and lengths between 75-mm and 300-mm. The bottles then move along a variable-speed packing conveyor (up to 40-feet) to the single-head crimping and collar-fitting stations. Both machines are air-operated and flameproof, featuring height-adjustable platforms with counters and dual-mode (auto/manual) functionality to facilitate rapid setup.
Quality assurance is managed by a perfume bottle leak testing machine. This unit uses an industrial glass vacuum chamber reaching 600-mmHg to verify sealing integrity in three-minute cycles. The final stages involve the auto horizontal perfume box labelling machine, offering application accuracy via microcontroller-based controls, followed by an auto carton wrapping machine for bulk distribution. The line is designed for modularity, utilising SMC/Festo pneumatic components and variable frequency drive (VFD) speed control.
