Interpack was first launched in 1958 and since then has organised leading trade fairs for packaging solutions and processes every three years. The trade fair gathers international processing and packaging industry members under one roof. Following the completion of the 2023 edition — the top exhibiting nations were Germany, Italy, China, Turkey, India, the Netherlands, the USA, France, Spain, Switzerland and the United Kingdom — the organisers have recently announced the official dates for Interpack 2026.

The focus for Interpack 2026 is on solutions for eight key industries, with the target groups being food, beverages, confectionery, bakery, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, non-food, and industrial goods. Equipment for labelling, marking, package production, and integrated packaging printing will all be on display, along with packaging supplies and materials. “Components,” the related supplier trade show, is also set to grow. Three major future themes, namely Smart Manufacturing, Innovative Materials and Future Skills, will be the emphasis of Interpack.

The themes highlight AI, robots, automation, and intelligent control systems that enable resource-efficient, data-driven production that is improving process efficiency and machine intelligence. In addition, more than 1,000 exhibitors will showcase packaging materials with an emphasis on sustainability, circularity, and resource efficiency.

About 2,800 exhibitors from around the world are expected at the trade show, offering specialised solutions, and presenting their latest innovations in manufacturing, processing and packaging machinery.

The provisional list of exhibitors provides an initial overview of around 70 Indian companies, including Brilliant Polymers, Chiripal Poly Films, Cosmos Twisters, Parle Global Technologies, Swiss Pac, and Vacmet India, that are set to exhibit solutions and innovations at Interpack.

The highlights of the trade show include the Spotlight Forum, Start-up Zone, Women in Packaging, Interpack TV, and many sustainability-focused projects, such as the SAVE FOOD campaign. Guided tours, live displays of equipment, instructive workshops, product launches, and the WorldStar Packaging Awards are scheduled to take place at Interpack.

Interpack provides a platform for customers and suppliers to network, do business, and share ideas with suppliers worldwide.
