Soma, a leading innovator in flexographic printing solutions, has announced a strategic expansion with the establishment of Soma India Marketing Services.

The new branch, based in India, is set to become a vital partner for local converters. It will provide direct access to Soma's advanced technology, specialised technical support, and customised services, all designed to cater to the unique requirements of the regional market. This move underscores Soma's commitment to the burgeoning Indian packaging industry, a market experiencing rapid growth and transformation. 

Suhas Kulkarni, the sales and operations leader will lead Soma India. As the country head, Kulkarni will oversee operations across three South Asian countries, focusing on profitability and operational excellence while aligning with Soma's global vision for growth and innovation.

Pavla Kusá, the commercial director of Soma said "India is a crucial market for Soma, both in its scale and its potential for innovation. Suhas Kulkarni brings a wealth of strategic insight and understanding of the Indian market to his role. His background includes serving as managing director of technology at DKSH and managing diverse business lines, from data centre solutions to scientific instruments, in addition to printing and packaging.
