Brands revamp distribution for upcoming Ram Mandir consecration

With the Ram Mandir coming up in Ayodhya, the city is expecting 10x visiting population around 22 January, 2024. FMCG companies, food chains and outlets are revamping their distribution to cater to an expected population of 35 million devotees who will visit Ayodhya for the consecration of the Ram Mandir.

With the Ram Mandir coming up in Ayodhya, the city is expecting 10x visiting population around 22 January, 2024. FMCG companies, food chains and outlets are revamping their distribution to cater to an expected population of 35-million devotees who will visit Ayodhya for the consecration of the Ram Mandir. 

Anticipating a substantial surge in consumer demand following the consecration of the Ram Mandir, Bisleri is strategically setting up a greenfield plant in Ayodhya. The plant will feed into demand from surrounding markets in Uttar Pradesh.

Dhairyashil Patil, national president of the All India Consumer Products Distributors Federation, said "FMCG companies are ramping up distribution in the city anticipating demand surge of daily essentials, since Ayodhya is coming up as the biggest tourism centre of New India."

McDonald's India is setting up a new outlet on the Lucknow-Ayodhya highway to cater to the anticipated surge in tourists.

Phool, a handcrafted and made from temple flowers brand that is known for its incense stick and worshipping tools, released a Ayodhya Puja collection.
