During interactions at the Brilliant booth what the WhatPackaging? team discerned is as follows. The Brilliant Max Cure range of solvent-free adhesives are formulations based on low monomer systems that provide fast physical cure, 48-hour PAA decay, robust food safety compliance and enhanced environmental sustainability.

A company spokesperson said, “With a curing speed higher than existing offerings, the Max Cure range will bring converters the critical benefit of being able to fill flexible packages more quickly and safely.” The spokesperson added, “It will offer additional advantages like fast physical cure, quick development of bond and heat seal strength, enabling slitting / pouching in short times, user friendly, long pot life and excellent optical appearance, even at high running speeds. No misting and excellent chemical and heat resistance. It is compatible with modern ink systems.”

Brilliant Max Cure has been launched to a select few customers in India with the global launch expected in the fourth quarter of 2023.

Meanwhile Brilliant’s HA960 / A900 is a glymo-free high-performance solvent-based adhesive based on aliphatic isocyanates. A company spokesperson told WhatPackaging? that “Brilliant HA960 has been designed as a modular system and is highly versatile. The base component can be combined with different hardeners to deliver a wide range of performance properties: for thermal processes such as sterilisation, aggressive filling goods, and hot filling processes.” The fields of application range from pet food and medical applications to convenience products.Brilliant HA960 / A900 is expected to be launched in India in the fourth quarter of 2023.
