BW Packaging will use Interpack 2026 to present a consolidated view of its machinery portfolio, as the company brings together multiple brands under a unified structure.

At stand 6/C79, the company will demonstrate solutions across bagging, filling, closing, labelling and end-of-line packaging, reflecting a broader shift towards integrated production lines rather than standalone equipment.

Denning Saum, chief product and marketing officer at BW Packaging, said, “Interpack marks an important milestone for BW Packaging as we bring our leading brands together under one unified company.” He added that combining expertise across brands enables the company to address customer requirements through both individual machines and fully integrated lines.

The exhibit will include equipment from brands such as Angelus, Hayssen and Sleevit, all operating through the company’s OpView HMI interface. The system is designed to standardise machine operation, allowing operators to manage different equipment through a common platform.

Joe Ambrose, director of innovation controls at BW Packaging, said, “What’s special about OpView is that regardless of an operator’s experience level, they can use its modern interface to easily set up, operate and troubleshoot the machine.” He added that the system is particularly relevant in environments facing a shortage of skilled operators.

Among the machines on display is the Angelus 12V seamer, which has been redesigned to reduce changeover time and improve cleanability while lowering overall operating costs. The system is suited for food and beverage applications, with the ability to run a wide range of can sizes at high speeds.

The company will also demonstrate the Hayssen CM Verus, a continuous-motion vertical form fill seal system designed for high-speed packaging of products such as frozen food, produce and snack items. The machine incorporates sealing technology aimed at improving both speed and pack quality.

In labelling, the Sleevit direct feed shrink sleeve applicator will be shown, offering servo-driven operation and toolless changeovers. The system is designed to handle a range of container types while maintaining placement accuracy at higher speeds.

Beyond primary packaging, BW Packaging will highlight its end-of-line capabilities through its SYMACH palletising systems, which are designed to improve load stability and reduce manual labour requirements. Additional solutions from Zepf will focus on reducing changeover times through quick-change components.

The company’s Interpack presentation reflects wider industry trends, including the move towards integrated lines, the need to address labour shortages and the increasing importance of operational efficiency across the packaging process.

BW Packaging said it expects Interpack to serve as a platform to demonstrate how unified systems and standardised interfaces can simplify operations while improving productivity across packaging environments.
