Canpac has expanded its manufacturing footprint with the commissioning of its ninth production facility in the Delhi NCR region, strengthening its position in the folding carton and packaging segment.

The new plant has been equipped with automated converting and printing technologies, including DGM fold-gluing lines and a newly installed Koenig & Bauer offset press, aimed at supporting both high-volume and customised packaging production.

According to Pawan Jain, associate vice president at Canpac, the facility represents a significant investment in packaging manufacturing capability and operational efficiency.

The plant is designed to cater to growing demand for folding cartons and packaging solutions across multiple sectors, combining automation, precision printing and converting under one roof. The company said the investment will enhance its ability to produce both corporate folding cartons and customised packaging formats while maintaining consistency and quality standards.

Canpac highlighted the facility's focus on modern manufacturing practices, including energy-efficient operations and advanced production workflows. The new site also increases the company's overall production capacity as it continues to expand its packaging business.

The facility was formally inaugurated with a traditional puja ceremony attended by employees and company representatives.

With the addition of the Delhi NCR unit, Canpac's manufacturing network now comprises nine plants across India, reflecting the company's continued investment in packaging infrastructure and production technology.
