CII Sustainable Plastic Packaging Awards 2026 cycle applications now open
The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) has officially announced that applications are open for the 2026 cycle of its prestigious Sustainable Plastic Packaging Awards.

The awards aim to celebrate and encourage innovation in sustainable practices within the packaging industry.
As per CII, "The competition is open to a broad range of industry players, including brands and retailers, packaging manufacturers and converters."
Businesses are invited to submit their innovative work under seven distinct sub-categories: A1, A2, B1.1, B1.2, B2.1, B2.2, and C. These categories are designed to capture the diverse range of efforts being made across the sector to promote environmental responsibility.
As per the CII team, participating in the awards offers significant benefits to organisations, which include bringing national recognition to your organization’s commitment and work in sustainability. Also inspiring further internal innovation and setting a benchmark for the larger peer group, as well as making a meaningful contribution to the development of a vibrant research and innovation environment focused on sustainability in India.
The deadline for the submission of expressions of interest is 28 February 2026.
