The innovations meet the increasing demands for advanced and sustainable packaging materials

Cosmo Films, the film manufacturing business unit of Cosmo First, has been honoured with the Indian Flexible Packaging and Folding Carton Association (IFCA) Star Award 2025 for its innovative packaging solutions.

The award recognises two of Cosmo Films' breakthrough products: the high-heat-seal-strength metallised barrier BOPP film (HST-1 (ES EL) MOT085) and the CPP-based retortable, sealable, and peelable lidding film (HST-1 (LRT) CPP). These innovations are designed to meet the increasing industry demand for advanced and sustainable packaging materials.

Sharing his thoughts on the achievement, Pankaj Poddar, group CEO, Cosmo First, emphasised the company's focus on functional and sustainable engineering. “At Cosmo, we are constantly working to engineer films that not only enhance functionality but also support our customers’ sustainability goals,” said Poddar.

Over the years, the company has built a strong reputation for delivering advanced film solutions that cater to the evolving needs of the packaging industry.
