The 2025 edition features 353 exhibitors and more than 800 brands from nine countries

India’s beauty and personal care segment is expected to cross USD 33-bn this year. Considering the tier-2 and tier-3 towns, the per capita consumption of beauty products outside the top 10 cities is rising at a faster pace than within them.

Almost 35% of the exhibitors at Cosmoprof India are from the packaging fraternity. Some of the top brands at the show include: UFlex FlexiTubes; AGI Greenpac; EPL; Albea Group; Maharshi Group; and more.

The 2025 edition features 353 exhibitors and more than 800 brands from nine countries. The show maintains focus on the entire supply chain through Cosmopack India, which showcases excellence in areas like ingredients and raw materials, machinery, and packaging. This segment allows printers and converters to connect directly with major beauty brands seeking innovative and sustainable packaging solutions.

The 2024 edition was a record setter, attracting over 355 exhibitors from 21 countries and regions, and more than 11,000 stakeholders from 52 countries.

One of the highlights of the show, CosmoTalks features confabulations about the latest trends in India and strategies for entering the growing beauty market. One of the key sessions for our WhatPackaging? readers is “The second skin of beauty– packaging that performs” on day two of the show.

The discussion will be chaired by Rahul Bose, founder and CEO, Neural Hinge. It will feature voices from CosmoPack’s exhibitors—including OEMs, primary and secondary packagers, and design innovators such as Zoeb Kanorwalla, chief designer, PGP Glass; Karan Mehta, director of Efficient Plastech; and Pooja Kharb, founder, IdeaXip.

This session dives into how packaging performs across aesthetics, functionality, and sustainability. From tactile finishes to engineered precision, it will explore how machinery, materials, and design come together to deliver impact.

The panel discussion aims to cover topics such as:
What performance means across durability, usability, and brand storytelling
How OEMs and designers co-create packaging that meets both technical and emotional benchmarks
The evolving expectations from brands: Speed, flexibility, and eco-consciousness
Case studies of packaging that elevated product experience and market success

A key highlight of the exhibition is the focus on premiumisation and new consumer trends that directly influence packaging demand. Cosmoprof features trends such as the rise of multi-step beauty routines, the growing role of Ayurveda and clean beauty, and the impact of new technologies like AI and digital try-ons. These developments are driving demand for high-quality, sustainable, and highly decorated packaging.
