DCGpac has inaugurated its first smart manufacturing plant in Noida, marking its entry into in-house production as part of a broader backward integration strategy focused on sustainable packaging.

The 20,000-sqft facility began operations on 18 January 2026 and has an initial production capacity of 250-tonnes per month, with plans to scale up. The plant has been developed under a five-year strategic partnership with Ukhi, which supplies biodegradable and compostable raw materials.

Located in Noida, the plant will manufacture export-grade sustainable packaging for eCommerce, quick commerce, logistics, retail, and D2C brands. DCGpac said the facility will cater to customers in India, the UK, Germany, Australia, and the Middle East.

The site is equipped with extrusion, printing, sealing, and finishing systems, supported by an in-house quality control laboratory. According to the company, the setup is intended to ensure regulatory compliance and consistent performance across international markets.

DCGpac said the move into manufacturing is complementary to its existing vendor network and does not replace its current manufacturing partners. Instead, the facility is expected to support faster product development, tighter quality control, and improved supply chain coordination.

With the launch, DCGpac has completed vertical integration across raw material sourcing, manufacturing, quality assurance, fulfilment, and international shipping. This framework is supported by its AI-powered ProPac platform and RePac, the company’s circular economy initiative focused on recycling and reuse.

Suresh Bansal, founder of DCGpac, said the facility supports the company’s long-term plan to build a sustainability-led global packaging ecosystem.

Over the next five years, DCGpac plans to develop additional smart manufacturing facilities under its Smart Manufacturing Model. The combined investment by DCGpac and its partners is expected to exceed INR 100-crore, aimed at supporting growing domestic and international demand.
