Domino Printech India will participate in Interpack 2026, focusing on the technical infrastructure required for Indian manufacturers to compete in increasingly regulated markets.

A primary objective for Domino Printech India at Dusseldorf is addressing the global transition toward QR codes powered by GS1. For Indian exporters in the pharmaceutical and FMCG sectors, these data-rich codes are becoming a non-negotiable requirement for traceability and consumer engagement.

Domino’s showcase includes integrated 2D code applications and automated vision system validation designed to ensure that products manufactured in India meet the stringent compliance standards of the EU and North America, thereby reducing the risk of costly export rejections.

The company is also highlighting solutions that enhance overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), a critical metric for Indian firms scaling production to meet China Plus One supply chain demands. By introducing smart and integrated coding and labelling systems, Domino aims to simplify production lines. This approach focuses on reducing downtime and eliminating unnecessary features that complicate maintenance.

For the Indian delegation, these innovations provide a pathway to more agile, data-driven manufacturing environments — often referred to as the smart connected factory concept.

Sustainability remains a central theme of the 2026 showcase, particularly as Indian firms adopt new packaging materials like recyclable monomaterials and PVC-free foils.

Domino Printech India will display technologies that support these environmental goals, such as the Cx150i direct-to-box printer, which utilises non-toxic, vegetable-oil-based inks.
