At the ExxonMobil booth, visitors will witness conversations about how materials drive packaging efficiency, and innovative film solutions with Vistamaxx and random copolymer polypropylene (RCP).
Vistamaxx performance polymers compatibilise PE and PP plastics, and allow them to mix in the melt, removing the need for separation. They also improve end product quality for high-value applications.
By allowing incompatible PE and PP plastics to mix in the melt, Vistamaxx performance polymers can reduce the need for separation and offers manufacturers the possibility of higher-quality outputs, potential cost reduction due to increased recycle content, and potential access to new lower-quality, lower-cost recycled content sources.
Vistamaxx offers cost savings, increases process consistency, improves output toughness, and unlocks new product possibilities.
ExxonMobil’s value-chain partners will be showcasing live machine runs using its performance resins, giving an up-close look at the latest advancements in plastics manufacturing. All of the company’s polymers are now positioned under a single portfolio brand: Signature Polymers. The aim is to simplify product architecture and naming to improve portfolio navigation.
