In a significant move to expand its international reach, the Global Rotogravure Association (GRA) has officially partnered with the Taicang Hi-tech Industrial Development Zone in Jiangsu Province, China. This collaboration was solidified during the 17th Taicang Day in Stuttgart, where GRA Head Stefani Dhami signed a Letter of Intent, marking a crucial step in the association's global engagement strategy.
The event, attended by political and industry representatives from Taicang, Baden-Württemberg, and Bavaria, served as a vital platform for discussing future cooperation between Chinese and European industrial stakeholders. Stefani Dhami emphasised the importance of this agreement, stating, "This cooperation marks another important milestone in GRA’s global journey. It reflects our dedication to connecting regions, sharing innovation, and creating opportunities for the gravure community worldwide."
This new partnership follows GRA's recent rebranding from the European Rotogravure Association (ERA), signaling a broader, more inclusive global mission. The GRA unites gravure printers, cylinder manufacturers, engravers, and supply industries worldwide, building on ERA's legacy to foster international cooperation, technological progress, and industry excellence in rotogravure printing.
