Anthony D'Souza, managing director of Mespack India and board director at the Indian Packaging Machinery Manufacturers' Institute (IPMMI), presented the organisation's strategic vision during a recent industry address, emphasising collaboration and innovation as key drivers for sectoral growth.

"Through our joint venture with Impel and acquisition of Spheretech, we're creating an ecosystem for tangible investments and knowledge sharing," D'Souza stated.

The organisation's Packmach Asia magazine serves as a platform to amplify these efforts. "This isn't merely about transactions," D'Souza explained. "We're building bridges to manifest opportunities and advocate for progressive policies that will shape packaging's future."

D'Souza urged industry professionals to leverage these initiatives. "Leadership isn't given, it's earned through collective effort. We must pass our knowledge to the next generation while creating value beyond mere product protection."

The IPMMI director framed challenges as opportunities: "Every obstacle presents a blue ocean of potential. Together, we can unbox possibilities for both business growth and societal contribution."

D'Souza concluded with an appeal for industry-wide participation in IPMMI's programmes, positioning the organisation as a catalyst for India's packaging sector evolution.
