Kaku Kohli to be the first Indian board member of GRA
The Global Rotogravure Association (GRA) has elected new officers and board members during its 90th management meeting, held as part of GRA’s International Gravure Days from 20 to 22 October in Istanbul, Turkey.

Simon Sonn of 4 Packaging Africa has been elected as the new President of GRA. He assumes leadership of the association at a time of global expansion and industry transformation. He takes over from Davide Garavaglia as a president, who will continue to contribute to the association as a member of the board.
Dr Marius Wittke, Windmoller & Holscher, has been elected as vice-president and treasurer. He succeeds Max Rid, who has served the association in this position for almost nine years with, and who will likewise remain active as a board member.
Joining the GRA board as newly elected members are: Kaku Kohli, Kohli Printing and Converting Machines – the first Indian board member in the history of the association. Then the board has Mandy Wang, Weinan Zhengqi Printing and Packing Machinery – the first Chinese board member in the history of the association.
In addition, the members re-elected for another three-year term are Martin Pitonak of Chemosvit; David Möller of 4Packaging; Heiko Engelhardt of Burda Druck; and Olaf Segbert of Daetwyler Swisstec.
GRA brings together gravure printers, cylinder manufacturers, engravers, and supply industries from across the globe. Building on the legacy of the European Rotogravure Association (ERA), founded in 1956, GRA is committed to fostering international cooperation, technological progress, and industry excellence in rotogravure printing.
