The fire triggered a large-scale emergency response from the local fire department. According to reports from leading news agencies, at least six fire tenders were dispatched immediately to the site to combat the inferno.

Footage from the scene shows thick plumes of smoke rising from the industrial unit as firefighting operations continue to bring the blaze under control. While the scale of the fire caused significant alarm in the industrial hub, officials have confirmed that no casualties or injuries have been reported so far. Employees were evacuated from the premises as the fire intensified.

This incident follows a similar fire that occurred just 24 hours earlier at another packaging unit in the Ravi Nagar industrial area on Basai Road. The Monday morning blaze, which began around 8:00 am, also resulted in no injuries but caused widespread panic among local workers and residents.

Authorities have stated that the cause of the Sector 74 fire is yet to be ascertained. Investigations are expected to commence once the cooling operations are complete. Further details regarding the extent of the property damage and the possible source of the ignition are currently awaited.
