Under the theme "Inspect. Protect. Comply.", the company is debuting several global firsts across metal detection, X-ray, and AI-driven software.
Central to the showcase is the global launch of the M50 R-Series AdvancedLine metal detectors. Engineered for both packaged and bulk products, the series features enhanced detection sensitivity and intuitive operation to meet tightening traceability and data connectivity mandates.
For complex applications, Mettler-Toledo is introducing the X56 DXD+, a dual-energy photon-counting X-ray system. Part of the X6 Series, this technology excels at detecting low-density contaminants—such as plastic, rubber, and wood—even within challenging, overlapping product textures.
Complementing this hardware is the debut of AI-driven inspection capabilities. By integrating artificial intelligence into its X-ray systems, Mettler-Toledo aims to improve accuracy in scenarios involving random product positioning or mixed product types. This shift is expected to reduce unnecessary product rejection, contributing to higher line efficiency.
The company has also reintroduced the Eagle Product Inspection line to its European portfolio. Visitors can explore the Maximizer RMI system, a high-performance X-ray solution specifically designed for the raw poultry industry, combining proprietary photon-counting technology with automated material handling.
In the realm of checkweighing, the C35 AdvancedLine is being demonstrated for its ability to identify overfills and underfills in real time, helping manufacturers reduce product giveaway.
To address the limited footprint of modern production floors, Mettler-Toledo is highlighting its Combination systems (CM, CX, and CV configurations). These solutions integrate multiple technologies—such as checkweighing, metal detection, and vision inspection—into a single, streamlined unit. This "3-in-1" approach allows for simultaneous weight control, contamination detection, and label verification.
Recognising that smart manufacturing relies on reliable data, the company is demonstrating its ProdX data management software. The platform collects real-time data from across the inspection line, providing centralised visibility and supporting audit readiness by replacing manual documentation processes.
"Food manufacturers are operating in an environment shaped by increasing complexity and higher expectations around compliance," said Daniela Verhaeg, Communications Manager at Mettler-Toledo Product Inspection. "At Interpack, we are demonstrating how our solutions support smarter manufacturing by combining advanced detection with connected data and global service expertise."
Beyond the flagship launches, the stand features a wide array of tailored solutions, including the Profile Gravity Fall metal detector for bulk powders and grains, and the X12 and X53 systems for diverse packaging formats. These technologies demonstrate a comprehensive approach to managing risk at multiple critical control points across the production line.
