The convergence of packaging innovation, high-quality printing, and the booming beauty market is set to drive significant business at Cosmoprof India 2025, which will run from 4 to 6 December 2025, at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai.
The dedicated Cosmopack India section, showcasing the excellence of the supply chain, will place a heavy emphasis on packaging, contract manufacturing, and private label solutions. This is a direct response to India’s beauty and personal care market, which is on a phenomenal growth trajectory, expected to soar from its present value of USD 24-billion to as much as USD 45-billion by 2030. This rapid expansion, fuelled by rising disposable incomes, urbanisation, and digital adoption, is creating unprecedented demand for sophisticated print and packaging services to execute complex branding strategies.
For packaging converters and commercial printers, the exhibition offers a direct line to brand owners focusing on the premiumisation trend. Segments like skincare and makeup are experiencing double-digit annual growth, necessitating luxurious, intricate, and high-fidelity packaging to stand out on the shelf. This calls for advanced printing techniques, including specialty coatings, foil stamping, and embossing, which elevate the product's perceived value. Furthermore, the rising consumer interest in Ayurveda and clean beauty is accelerating the shift toward sustainable packaging, opening a new vertical for printing firms specialising in eco-friendly inks, recyclable substrates, and minimalist, transparent designs that communicate ethical sourcing.
Reinforcing the event's stature as a hub for innovation, the Cosmoprof India and Cosmopack India Awards will celebrate excellence in the sector, including three dedicated categories for the supply chain. The platform encourages manufacturers to push the boundaries of materials science and design, highlighting the competitive necessity of innovative and sustainable packaging solutions.
Having recorded an increase in product submissions in 2024, the Awards reflect the industry's investment in research and development. The event's growth includes a 90% increase in exhibition space since 2019, solidifying its position as the premier gateway for the global print and packaging community to engage with India's vibrant and forward-looking beauty market.
