The All-India Plastics Manufacturers Association (AIPMA) is gearing up to host the second edition of Plastiworld, an exclusive, export-oriented showcase for plastic finished products. Scheduled from 23 to 25 March 2026, at the Jio Convention Centre, Mumbai, the event is a strategic move designed to significantly elevate India's position as a global sourcing hub and capture a larger share of the global plastics trade.

The launch of Plastiworld is a bold initiative aimed at engaging buyers from the world's top importing countries, showcasing India’s potential as a dynamic, reliable, and sustainable alternative to traditional manufacturing powerhouses. With the global plastic trade valued at approximately USD 1300-billion, India’s current export share stands at about USD 12.5-billion, representing just 0.96% of the world market.

To bridge this substantial gap, AIPMA has established a dedicated Export Cell to study and boost the export of finished plastic goods from India. Plastiworld 2026 is central to this strategy, providing a high-level platform for B2B interactions and new export opportunities.

The event will connect India's small and medium enterprises (SMEs) directly with overseas buyers, buying houses, buying agents, and professionals from eCommerce sourcing companies through facilitated one-on-one B2B meets.

Exhibitors will display a diverse and extensive range of products, including household goods, kitchenware and tableware, sports and leisure items, toys, stationery and writing instruments, corporate gifts, packaging, and medical items. By connecting these diverse Indian manufacturers with global demand, AIPMA aims to strengthen business relationships and significantly increase the country’s export footprint in the finished plastics segment.
