National Conference on Food Packaging 3.0 set for March
The third edition of the National Conference on Packaging arrives as traditional methods are being replaced by artificial intelligence, circular economy models, and next-generation food safety innovations.

As the global food industry shifts toward higher safety standards and environmental accountability, the National Conference on Food Packaging (NCFP 3.0) is set to convene on March 24 2026. Scheduled to coincide with World Packaging Day, the event will be held at Pune Vidyarthi Griha’s College of Engineering, Technology and Management.
The 2026 conference will highlight multinational collaboration and expanded industry participation, with the central theme focusing on the evolving food packaging ecosystem, targeting smart packaging technologies, sustainable solutions, advanced printing applications, and the development of next-generation materials.
With over 400 industry professionals, researchers, and students expected to attend, the event will address emerging trends and future opportunities in the field. The program is structured to facilitate knowledge exchange through a series of keynote addresses, technical paper presentations, and panel discussions. Participants will also have access to expert-led workshops and interactive networking sessions designed to bridge the gap between academic research and industrial application.
By bringing together innovators and stakeholders, NCFP 3.0 aims to address sustainability challenges and technological advancements required to modernise food safety and distribution.
