PrintWeek Awards 2025: Parksons Packaging takes home Packaging Company of the Year title

The 15th edition of the PrintWeek Awards 2025 celebrated the finest achievements in India’s print, publishing and packaging industry at a grand awards night hosted by Haymarket Media India. The evening brought together industry leaders, innovators and creative minds to honour outstanding performance, quality and sustainable innovation across the country’s most dynamic printing businesses.

In his opening address, Ashish Bhushan, managing director of Haymarket Media India, set the tone for the evening by applauding the innovation, collaboration and resilience that define the Indian print and packaging community. “We come together not only to celebrate achievements but also the spirit of innovation and collaboration that drives our industry forward,” said Bhushan. “This year, we received entries from more than 100 companies and over 1,000 print samples, proof that print in India continues to raise benchmarks in R&D, sustainability and technology. Our goal at Haymarket Media India is to create a stronger voice for the industry through knowledge-sharing and meaningful collaborations.”

Manipal Technologies clinched the top honour, PrintWeek Company of the Year. 

Parksons Packaging was named Packaging Company of the Year, recognised for its consistent excellence in converting, process control, and packaging design that blends functionality with strong brand impact.

In the boutique segment, Printmann Group took home Packaging Company of the Year – Boutique, reflecting its mastery in precision printing and niche packaging solutions. Meanwhile, Parakh Flexipacks won Packaging Company of the Year – Flexible, acknowledged for its innovation in barrier films, print quality, and sustainable flexible formats.

Afflatus Gravures received the Pre-Press and Design Service Provider of the Year Award for its advanced colour management, design reproduction accuracy, and end-to-end packaging pre-media expertise.

In the innovation categories, Brijbasi Art Printers and Kumar Printers shared the title of Innovative Printer of the Year – Paper / Paperboard / Corrugated, recognised for pushing creative and structural boundaries in paper-based packaging. The Innovative Printer of the Year – PET, LDPE, HDPE, PVC, PP, PS, Metal / Glass went jointly to Lynx Designers & Creators and Flexure Print N Pack.

The label and converter categories highlighted the strength of India’s packaging supply chain. Any Graphics and Letra Graphix jointly won Label Printer of the Year for precision detailing and flawless embellishments across FMCG and premium labels.

In the converters’ segment, TCPL Packaging and Trigon Digipack jointly won Packaging Converter of the Year – F&B, while Perfect Packaging and HBD Packaging shared the FMCG category for design innovation and consistency. Letra Graphix secured another major win with Packaging Converter of the Year – Pharma, recognised for its quality control and compliance excellence. Meraki and Trigon Digipack jointly won the Rigid Box category for craftsmanship and premium finishing, while Screen Art Enterprises bagged the Paper Bag title for creative yet sustainable execution.

Rounding off the packaging and display segment, Prodon Enterprises and GKW Retail Solutions jointly won POS/POP Printer of the Year for their structural innovation and print precision in retail branding applications.

The night also featured a panel on The Brand Packaging – Opportunities and Challenges, moderated by Prasad Balan Iyer, director, SIES - School of Packaging, explored how personalisation, sustainability and scalable innovation are transforming brand packaging in India. Speakers emphasised that while technology enables hyper-personalisation, true success lies in intent, logistics and responsible design. The discussion underscored Design for Recyclability principles, the balance between consumer expectations and environmental goals, and the importance of implementing sustainability at a scalable, demonstrable level.
