Andrew Hewitson, Global CEO, Reproflex3 will take on additional responsibilities for overseeing the group’s operations in India. The decision aligns with the continuing Global Integration programme at Reproflex3.

Reflecting on the change, Andrew Hewitson stated, “Reproflex3 has successfully operated in India for more than four years. Despite the challenges posed by the Covid pandemic, Sethu's leadership has enabled the India team to build a robust client portfolio and supported the expansion of our operations into four countries.”

He said, “Our new focus is to further integrate Indian operations within our global production processes and systems, hence the restructuring.” Priorities include enhancing technology adoption, facilitating talent exchange between India and other locations. The company also wants to establish a global studio based in India to better serve the local market, enabling more brands to benefit from the manufacturing expertise and flexo printing technologies.

Vijay Irudhayaraj, current head of operations in the Middle East & Africa, will assume additional responsibilities in India.

In his extended role, Irudhayaraj will play a pivotal part in overseeing day-to-day operations and driving new projects integral to Reproflex3’s expansion plans in India and Asia.

“Our strategy for the Indian flexible packaging market is designed to attract both local brands and major global players,” explained Irudhayaraj. “Our aim is to share our prepress expertise and award-winning print technologies with progressive, forward-thinking brands who want to achieve world-class print quality that is both consistent and cost effective,” he added.

Sethunath will transition out of his operational role to explore opportunities outside the R3 group. However, he will continue to be a vital part of the Reproflex3 board, collaborating closely with company co-founders Andrew Hewitson and Trevor Lowes on strategy, working with key and contacts in the local supply chain.
