It aims to unite global industry leaders under the theme “Transformation, collaboration, and sustainability” to drive innovation and sustainable growth. Approximately 4,500 international exhibitors and 320,000+ visitors from diverse sectors, including automotive, packaging, medical, electronics, and renewable energy, are expected to participate in the event. The exhibition features nine national/regional pavilions, and will be spread across 380,000-sqm.

As China and Asia continue to lead global plastics consumption and production, with China’s output reaching 77.07-million tons in 2024, the event will spotlight strategies for reducing environmental impact while meeting growing demand. Chinaplas aims to emphasise sustainability with a focus on green innovations and circular economy solutions.

The previous edition
In 2025, Chinaplas brought together the global plastics and rubber industries at the Shenzhen World Exhibition and Convention Center, Bao’an, in a grand four-day exhibition from April 15–18. The event attracted over 4,500 high-quality exhibitors from 39 countries and regions, featuring 3,800+ cutting-edge machine exhibits and 1,600+ raw material suppliers, along with 120+ global and Asian debut technologies.

A major highlight was the Plastics Recycling & Circular Economy Conference and Showcase on April 14, which gathered 800+ industry leaders to discuss global recycling strategies. Meanwhile, the 3rd SciXplore Forum featured renowned experts like Academicians Zhengdi Cheng and Benzhong Tang, exploring AI, green transformation, and polymer breakthroughs.

Building on the success of previous editions, where 97% of exhibitors reported satisfactory to very fruitful results and 96% praised visitor quality, the 2026 edition promises even greater value.
