Smart Accurate Packaging (SAP) highlighted its integrated manufacturing infrastructure for rigid containers and preforms at CMPL 2026 in Mumbai. The company demonstrated its capability to process a diverse range of polymers including PET, HDPE, PP, SAN, and ABS.A sales executive from the company stated that SAP utilised single-stage, two-stage, and injection moulding processes to serve the pharmaceutical, food, beverage, and personal care industries.
The manufacturer’s display included various bottles, containers, and blown products for brands such as D-Mart, Kapiva, and Pitambari. The executive noted that the company was exploring the shift toward sustainable materials, specifically investigating the use of recycled resins. While the transition faced technical challenges regarding product stability, SAP was testing blends containing 30% to 50% recycled content, depending on the specific application.
These trials aimed to ensure that product shelf life remained unaffected over a six-month period. Operational challenges were also highlighted, with the executive confirming a significant shortage of raw materials in the market. This scarcity contributed to a price increase of approximately 50%, impacting overall affordability for end customers.
To maintain technical standards, SAP showcased its in-house design and custom mould development capabilities. The facility operated under ISO 9001:2015 certification and was in the process of implementing FSSC 22000 standards for food safety management. Quality assurance protocols included in-process inspections to ensure dimensional accuracy across high-volume production cycles.
