These technical insights were a central part of the company's knowledge-sharing sessions titled “Ti Talks” at its stand. The programme featured morning sessions led by internal specialists focusing on the company’s specific technologies, followed by afternoon discussions with external industry experts addressing broader trends and developments in packaging.

Central to the company's presentation was redesign, a specialised tailor-fit service that acts as the primary vehicle for the company’s Dynamic Cycle sustainability strategy. The service works in collaboration with brand owners, industry experts, and certification bodies to transition traditional, non-recyclable structures into solutions aligned with circular economy principles.

The redesign process follows a rigorous six-stage pipeline starting with market segment analysis and customer assessment, followed by the proposal of a solution and collaboration, and concluding with the validation of the proposal and final delivery of the redesigned packaging.

Taghleef showcased a new generation of coated flexible packaging films that utilise advanced lacquer technology to enhance functionality while remaining potentially PVdC-free. These substrates provide critical barriers against aroma, mineral oils, oxygen, and water vapour, which the company demonstrated through air-tight laminates targeted at high-gas-barrier applications.

A key technical highlight of the showcase included the LTS coated film range, specifically engineered for high-speed HFFS. The range features coatings with an ultra-low heat sealing minimum temperature as low as 70°C, providing an ultra-wide operating window for high-speed variations.

The films offer consistent and stable performance with a coefficient of friction that does not decay over time, ensuring machinability and versatility across HFFS and over-wrapping processes. Additionally, a specialised coating layer enhances ink bonding and printability across various techniques, ranging from traditional offset to digital.

The company provided comparative data between its standard QTL and advanced Extendo XQTL films, noting a significant improvement in water vapour barrier performance from 4.7 to 3.0 grams per square metre per day when tested at 38°C and 90% relative humidity. These innovations are targeted at demanding sectors including dry biscuits, snacks, confectionery, and personal care.

Taghleef also highlighted its acrylic coated films, which feature dual-side coatings that offer superior optical properties such as high gloss and low haze alongside enhanced seal and slip properties. These films are validated as made for recycling by Interseroh, supporting the corporate goal of contributing to the quality of life for future generations.
