Ashok Chaturvedi, chairman and managing director of Uflex, held discussions with global partners and industry leaders to address the transition toward a circular economy at the ongoing Interpack. The high-level dialogues focused on the requirement for packaging solutions that aligned with international regulatory standards and the rising demand for environmental stewardship.

The interactions at the Uflex exhibit, supported by senior leadership including Anantshree Chaturvedi, vice chairman and chief executive officer of FlexFilms International, Sundeep Saksena, and Vishal Nayyar, highlighted the company’s emphasis on advanced material science. The technical focus remained on the integration of mono-material structures and films with high recycled content into mainstream production. These substrate shifts were designed to reduce the carbon footprint of flexible packaging while maintaining barrier performance.

Beyond technical breakthroughs within the Flexfilms division, the meetings served as a platform to coordinate a unified industry approach to the supply chain. By aligning with international counterparts, the company aimed to accelerate the adoption of sustainable formats that did not compromise on functional protection.
