Vishakha Polyfab, one of India's largest manufacturers of high-barrier multilayer flexible packaging films, is exhibiting at Interpack 2026 in Dusseldorf, Germany, from 7 to 13 May. The company can be found at Hall 9, Stand J27.
The appearance at Interpack marks a significant moment for the Ahmedabad-based manufacturer, which has been building its international presence for over two decades. Vishakha Polyfab holds the distinction of being the first company in India to manufacture seven-layer and nine-layer co-extruded packaging films, a technical milestone that has underpinned its reputation across both domestic and global markets.
A broader portfolio, a wider reach
Visitors to Stand J27 can explore the company's full product range, which spans several distinct film platforms designed for food, non-food and industrial applications. VishBarr is the company's high-barrier film range using PA and EVOH constructions, developed to preserve the taste, aroma, colour and texture of liquid, dry, frozen and refrigerated products. VishForm covers thermoforming films engineered for deep-draw applications, while VishLami addresses extended shelf-life requirements across retail and industrial pack formats.
Regain, the company's recyclable packaging range, has drawn considerable attention in sustainability-conscious markets. Built on a nylon and EVOH co-extruded and laminated barrier film structure, it is designed to be fully recyclable while retaining the barrier performance that food and non-food brands require. VishVacu addresses vacuum and modified atmosphere packaging needs, and VishTop provides high-performance lamination and up to nine-layer co-extruded barrier films compatible with a broad range of substrates including PE, PP, PS, PET, PVC and aluminium.
Expansion into Europe accelerating
Vishakha Polyfab's participation at Interpack comes as the company actively expands its footprint in the European Union, the United Kingdom and the Middle East. The EU-India Free Trade Agreement, signed in January 2026, has materially improved the commercial terms under which Indian flexible packaging exporters can access European buyers, and Vishakha Polyfab is positioned to benefit directly from those developments.
The company's next-generation nine-layer Vishbarr NG films, engineered to replace conventional non-recyclable laminate structures, align closely with the sustainability requirements driven by European regulatory frameworks and major retail groups seeking to meet circular economy targets.
