WhatPackaging? (WP): What does it do?
Rajesh Agarwal (RA): High speed foil stamping and embossing.

WP: Explain what it is suitable for?
RA:
Suitable for label industry in narrow-web and the wide-web segment. It is suitable for inline and offline foil stamping on cigarette cartons, tobacco (gutka) wrapper foil stamping, foil stamping and embossing on tipping paper.

WP: When was it launched?
RA:
Rhino S 510 was launched five years ago along with other models of Rhino S series. Over 100 machines have been sold in the market worldwide.

WP: What about India?
RA:
The Rhino X 1060 was launched in the year 2022 and two machines are already in operation in New Delhi and two machines will be installed in 2023. Making it the first four machines manufactured by Pantec and sold in India.

WP: What does your kit highlight?
RA:
Rhino series offer high productivity, high efficiency with maximum foil saving capability, and top quality embellishment.

WP: What about foil stamping?
RA:
In foil stamping, our machine achieves nano and micro-embossing structures at high speed.

WP: How many Indian converters have installed the kit and implemented successful projects?
RA:
Over ten machines sold in three years, and six converters in the label and flexible packaging sectors have installed these machines.

WP: How does it differ from similar products in the market?
RA:
A Chinese flatbed machine runs at 20-30-m/min whereas the Rhino S 510 runs at 150-m/min and Rhino X 1060 at 200-m/min. Both foil stamping and embossing can be achieved simultaneously in a single stroke.

WP: How convenient is it to use?
RA:
User-friendly machine, easy to install and operate.

WP: How does it score on merits like being trouble-free?
RA:
I would give it 9 out of 10.

WP: Waste is often overlooked. How do you deal with this aspect?
RA:
With our machines, foil waste is reduced to a minimum.

WP: What’s the price?
RA:
Depends on the model, also upon request.
