BASF to showcase sustainable packaging solutions at interpack 2023

One-of-Germany’s largest chemical companies, BASF to host its stall at booth B43 in hall 10 at interpack to be held from 4 to 10 May in Düsseldorf, Germany. The company will be represented together with a European distribution organisation, BTC.

BASF to present its extensive sustainable-portfolio at one-of-the world’s largest trade shows for packaging and processing. It eyes on following three-phases “Make-Use-Recycle,” pursuing the path of sustainability in the life-cycle of plastics. 

The spotlight may be the sustainable polyamide, Ultramid Ccycled, ideally suited for highly regulated applications such as food packaging. In the field of flexible packaging, the company involves PE/PA multilayer films and water-based Epotal lamination adhesives, a sustainable alternative to solvent-based and solvent-less products. 

The stall to exhibit multiple innovative solutions including ecovio, Ultradur Barrier B6560 M2 FC TF, Ultradur B1520 FC, Styropor Ccycled. The latter is particularly suitable for use in temperature-sensitive applications in the pharmaceutical and food sectors. In addition, it serves as protective packaging for damageable goods such as electrical appliances.

At interpack 2023, BASF will showcase sustainable solutions to improve the durability, transparency and circularity of plastic packaging, meeting the demands of brand owners, recyclers and converters.
