The events include technical sessions, the Annual Awards Meet, master speaker sessions, panel discussions

With many more businesses trying to understand green impact: focus has shifted to cutting emissions and making more sustainable choices. “[Consumers are asking:] ‘How can I source lower-carbon materials’? If they’re a print buyer, how can they source a lower-carbon factory that uses more renewables, or a paper supply chain that uses more renewable energy in the milling and distribution processes?

Some of the companies supporting the green agenda will be taking part in the discussions at the GreenCo Summit in Hyderabad. The companies include TNPL, Indian Oil, JSW Steel, Tata Steel, and Godrej Consumer Products, among others. Experts, chairmen, presidents, and directors of the aforementioned companies will come together to see how a more climate-conscious global market can be made possible.

In addition to the conference and master class, there will be a two-day exhibition which will focus on green products,  technologies and services.

As per a GreenCo Summit press note, “Talks spread across the two days will discuss the nuances and subtleties of these subjects further. They will examine how businesses intend to proceed from declarations to real, on-the-ground climate action; how we can move from ambition to execution by focusing on sustainable finance trends and key global developments in trade and innovation.”

A CII spokesperson said, “Those present can evaluate and get a further understanding of the opportunities (both technical and financial) that will now be open to them, the necessary action expected from them, as well as the risks associated with the steps an eco-friendly future will require them to take in order to make significant progress in the next five years.”

Now more than ever it is of utmost importance that the CII has organised this event, and that these big names in the industry have gathered, as immediate large-scale action for making a green, more eco-friendly world is imperative for us all to have a bright and safe future.
