Speciality packaging solutions and circular economy practices took centre stage as Cosmo Films presented its latest innovations at Interpack 2026. The New Delhi-based firm utilised the seven-day event to exhibit a diverse range of high-performance BOPP films, packaging and lamination solutions, and rigid packaging catering to the food and FMCG sectors.
These developments aimed to balance high-barrier functionality with reduced environmental impact. The technical showcase at Hall 9, Stand B31, focused on the transition toward sustainable materials, particularly mono-material packaging solutions. By leveraging its research and development capabilities, the company developed customised functional films designed to meet evolving global regulatory requirements.
These substrate shifts are intended to support brand owners in achieving sustainability-led transitions without compromising on cost efficiency or shelf-life protection. Kulbhushan Malik, global business head of Cosmo Films, said the platform offered a valuable opportunity to engage with global stakeholders and understand emerging requirements. He noted that the company remained focused on showcasing India’s potential to lead the next phase of packaging innovation.
Through pre-scheduled meetings with global partners, the firm sought to expand its customer base and build long-term collaborations with converters across international markets.
