CPHI on 28-30 November to celebrate pharma excellence

Organised by CPHI and PMEC India, the three-day pharma packaging trade show will transpire from 28 to 30 November 2023 at the India Expo Centre, Greater Noida. In addition to the expo, India Pharma Week will host an awards night as well as roundtable discussions.

On the sidelines, the tenth edition of India Pharma Awards to be held on 28 November

Marching with the tagline #GetPharAhead on its Twitter handle, CPHI and PMEC India to host a three-day pharma packaging trade show from 28 to 30 November 2023. The event will transpire at the India Expo Centre, Greater Noida, Delhi NCR.

As per the organisers, “The expo will offer strategically positioned zones to unite pharma buyers and sellers. The CPHI verticals comprise natural extracts, pharma excipients, finished dosage, pharma ingredients, and fine chemicals. While, the PMEC zones cover pharma machinery equipment, packaging equipment and supplies, RFID, filling equipment and many more.”

CPHI and PMEC India 2023 show expects a footfall of 48,000 attendees from across 150 countries plus 1,800 companies who shall exhibit. 

Alongside the display of the latest technologies, the India Pharma Week 2023 will be held from 28 to 30 November on the sidelines of the show. One day will see a session where stakeholders in the pharma industry unite to discuss growth in the sector. Later, the tenth annual India Pharma Awards and CEO roundtable will be hosted.

Informa Markets will host the tenth edition of the India Pharma Awards on 28 November. The awards comprise nominations across 13 categories to acknowledge brands for their excellence and innovation in the pharma space and special jury recognitions. The categories further comprise export promotion, pharmaceutical machinery, sustainability, and pharma innovation among others.

And, the CEO roundtable will witness the strategic gathering of CEOs of leading pharma and biopharma companies who will address the challenges and discuss solutions for pharma developments in India.

Similarly, on 29 November, a Women in Pharma roundtable will transpire to acknowledge and celebrate the contribution of women to the pharmaceutical industry. The roundtable will bring together women experts from the pharma, biopharma and life sciences professions.

India has evolved as the largest provider of generic drugs globally and is recognised for its affordable vaccines and generic medications. Ranked number three globally (by production volume), the Indian pharmaceutical industry is estimated to touch USD 130-billion by 2030, according to a study from the India Brand Equity Foundation (IBEF).
