  1. After what happened with MDH and Everest Masalas, the government is launching an initiative to ensure the export quality of the products of our country is compatible with the import tolerance limits of importing countries.
  2. Coca-Cola witnesses exponential growth and has decided to come up with bottling plants in Telangana and Gujarat for Rs 3,000 cr each. 
  3. Campa Cola, a Reliance Retail brand has recorded Rs 150-200 cr sales in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Tamil Nadu since its acquisition in 2022. 
  4. Owing to the summer heat in the country, cooling products companies have recorded a hike in sales. Soft drinks and ice-cream sales have swelled by 50%. 
  5. Parle Agro,ITC Food, Mother Dairy have increased the products capacity for the small packets to cater to the surged demands.  
  6. Lee-Cooper, an apparel brand has come up with a collection of jeans made from cigarette butts. Approximately fibres from 200 butts are used to convert it into a 9 sq ft cloth. 
  7. Nestle has countered back by calling the allegations fake. According to FSSAI, 13.6g of added sugars per serving is allowed in India where Cerelac has 7.1g which is way below the maximum limit.
  8. In 2024, Tata Consumer Products Limited will launch 24 premium products. Whereas in 2023 it was 6 products.
  9. Nestle eyes on rural areas located on the edge of town or a city for sales. Touched 2,00,000 villages. 
  10. Holicks, Hindustan Unilever brand, records Rs 2,000 cr sales annually has 50% shares in Rs 5,000 crores category.
