Edelmann installs rigid box machine in Baddi

Edelmann Packaging have modernised the Baddi Plant in Himachal Pradesh to enable entry into new markets and segments such as rigid boxes in beauty, gift packaging, and food segments for premium customers.

To meet the on-time delivery commitments of customers, they have officially announced the installation of a Fuchu Shiko semi-automatic rigid box machine. This machine enables them to boost production capacity and better serve customer demand for high-quality packaging. The most effective aspect of this machine is its optimal balance of automation and human operation. It automates repetitive tasks like feeding, folding, and gluing, maximizing productivity and ensuring the highest quality results, thereby making work easier due to its semi-automated nature and reducing time wastage.

The addition of this new rigid line will complement their current machinery, notably the Heidelberg CX102 high-speed 7-colour printing machines with double coater. Equipped with the capability to incorporate the latest embellishments available in the market, these machines will empower Edelmann India to seize opportunities in the premium rigid box segment, particularly within the beauty industry.
