The EyeC Proofiler Graphic Connect automatically compares print-ready files or step-and-repeat files with approved print templates

Germany-based EyeC is set to display the latest generation of cloud-based artwork proofreading software, along with inline and offline inspection systems. These solutions help packaging manufacturers, label printers, and brand owners automate, accelerate, and sustainably secure their quality control processes with the help of artificial intelligence.

As an essential component for efficient, automated quality control in prepress, the EyeC Proofiler Graphic Connect automatically compares print-ready files or step-and-repeat files with approved print templates. The system-independent, Software as a Service (SaaS)-based solution was developed specifically for the requirements of the graphic arts industry and packaging production.

With higher inspection speeds, improved usability, and seamless integration into leading workflow systems such as Esko Automation Engine or Hybrid Software, the system enables fully automated quality control.

Another focus of the trade fair presentation is AI-based inline inspection for the ProofRunner product line. AI technology will be demonstrated live on the modular EyeC ProofRunner Web Evo, installed on a Bobcat BRM from French machine manufacturer DCM. The system enables ultra-fast, 100% inline inspection of labels and flexible packaging up to 600-mm web width, with intelligent, image-based defect classification increasing precision and minimising false positives.

At Interpack, EyeC will also be showcasing its scanner-based offline systems, Proofiler 1200 DT and Proofiler 600 DT, suitable for companies with high-quality requirements and regulated markets.
