FICCI to host its trademark show on 20 May

The 16th edition of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry's (FICCI) Foodworld will be hosted at the FICCI Federation House, Tansen Marg in New Delhi on 20 May.

The event will be held at the FICCI Federation House

The objective of the event is to bring together the food business committee and foster collaboration. Deloitte will be the knowledge partner for Foodworld, and a FICCI-Deloitte knowledge report, Spurring Growth - Driving Innovation and Unlocking Opportunities on the Indian Food Processing Sector, will be released during the convention. 

The first session at Foodworld shall deliberate matters around the topic: Spurring growth amidst challenges – how India can lead the global food processing revolution, the second session will revolve around the evolving Indian customer - trends reshaping the food processing industry, the third session will speak about building a sustainable and tech-enabled food processing industry, while the final session will delve into “Empowering India’s food processing industry: how policy and regulation can drive the future of Indian food processing”.

The key speakers at the conference include Hemant Malik, chair of the FICCI food processing committee, an executive director, ITC; Prashant Peres, co-chair of the FICCI food processing committee and managing director, Kellogg's India; and Sudhakar Rao Desai, co-chair of the FICCI food processing committee and CEO, Emami Agrotech.

Other industry A-listers who will address the delegates at Foodworld will be Saugata Gupta, managing director and chief executive officer, Marico; Jagrut Kotecha, chief executive officer, Pepsi; Tarun Arora, CEO, Zydus Wellness; Sanjay Sharma, CEO, Orkla India; Sanjay Singhal, chief executive officer, Wagh Bakri Tea Group; Haresh Karamchandani, managing director and chief executive officer, Hyfun Frozen Foods; and Sunay Bhasin, executive director and CEO, MTR Foods.
