GreenPlas Tech showcases 100% compostable films and straws

GreenPlas Tech, a Gurugram-based manufacturer specialising in 100% compostable and biodegradable packaging, presented its full range of PLA/PBAT-based products at PackMach & drinktec India. The company operates two manufacturing units in Neemrana, Rajasthan, with a total investment of about INR 25-crore across plant, machinery, and operational infrastructure.

Its portfolio spans two major product categories: compostable films and compostable straws, including U-bend straws for aseptic packs and straight straws for juice, dairy and beverage brands. The products are derived from corn starch-based raw material, currently imported, and certified to degrade completely within 180 days in soil without harming soil organisms such as earthworms.

GreenPlas Tech supplies to leading customers such as Haldiram’s, Fresca, Pran Beverages, Dabur, TTD (for laddu carry bags), AIIMS Jodhpur and Delhi, Air India, and multiple garment manufacturers for apparel packaging. It also supplies to nurseries through the forest department and serves various sectors including retail, textiles, hospitality, food and beverages, aseptic packaging, and airports. 

GreenPlas Tech saw strong engagement reflecting rising demand for compostable alternatives across the beverage supply chain.
