The first edition of Envision was organised on 29 and 30 July, 2023, in Lonavala. Anthony D’souza, president, Institute of Packaging Machinery Manufacturers of India (IPMMI) said, “We represent the packaging fraternity, and envision to mitigate the challenges faced and pave the way ahead.”

“Cross-association across the supply chain is essential. And, IPMMI seeks to strengthen collaborations with global counterparts, leverage digitalisation, automation, and artificial intelligence in packaging machinery manufacturing,” he added.

The two-day event is held for 100 MSME members of IPMMI. Day one will kick off with a keynote address by Ajay Mariwala of Food Service India, followed by Dipak Sanghavi, managing director, Nilon’s Enterprises to speak about challenges and takeaways from a family-owned MSME business.

The audience will have a special address by Chakravarthi AVPS, global ambassador, World Packaging Organisation; Bhupinder Singh, CEO, Messe Muenchen India; and Priti Nair, director, Wuerth Industrial Services. Later, a panel discussion will be moderated by Shivam Dave, vice-president, head - assets, DBS Bank to share insights on debt and equity.
