ITek bags three awards at FTA’s Flexographic Awards

ITek Packz bagged two silver awards, and one bronze at the Flexographic Association (FTA) excellence in Flexography Awards. The event was held in Columbus, Ohio, USA on 16 April 2023.

Award winning entries for ITek Packz

The team from ITek Packz has kept its winning streak alive by receiving two silver awards and a bronze award. It received the silver awards for the Plum Saffron and Kumkumadi Oil Glow Bright Moisturizer carton, and the Plum Retinol Renewing Night Cream Carton in the narrow-web, Line, Paperboard category. It received a bronze award for Winfinith Instant Pain Relief Gel Pack in the narrow-web, Process, Paperboard category.

The FTA judges were impressed by ITek Packz’s entries and commented on their silver awards, “Plum Saffron Moisturiser carton - was delivered a sharp image with great ink coverage and good dots by the printer. They said that the Plum Retinol Cream displays great ink coverage and sharp detail and overall, it is a clean print.

For the bronze award, the judges praised ITek’s tight registration with sharp print and commented that the dots are reproduced well, and there is good ink coverage. ITek Packz said, “We continually strive to produce superior quality cartons and improve our offering to meet market trends and changing customer needs.”

ITek Packz, which was founded in 2013 and is one of the leading suppliers of self-adhesive labels and converters of printed cartons in Bengaluru, India. The company was established by the second generation of Winteck Flexo Print owners, Shahul Hameed, Gururaj Ballarwad, and the late PC Anand.

The company also recognises its print operators and the FL5 single pass carton single pass carton production line and flatbed die cutter (FDC), for their role in helping them create award-winning entries. Furthermore, ITek is committed to sustainability, and its carton production gives enhanced embellishment capabilities combining print both front and back, foiling, lamination, crease, emboss, braille, die-cut and waste stripping, and collation of the final product.
