Konnect Packaging International LLP is set to showcase its graphene-enhanced innovations and VCI films at Interpack 2026, which will be held in Dusseldorf from 7 to 13 May, capitalising on the recently concluded India-EU Free Trade Agreement to bolster its direct distribution channels across Europe.

Team WhatPackaging? brings you the momentum surrounding Interpack 2026, as Indian exhibitors prepare to showcase advanced manufacturing capabilities on the global stage. Konnect Packaging International is ramping up its presence at the event.
The company is strategically positioned to benefit from the landmark India-EU Free Trade Agreement (FTA) concluded on 27 January 2026. This agreement, which opens 97% of EU tariff lines to Indian exports duty-free, provides a significant tailwind for Konnect’s representative offices in Lithuania, Slovakia, France, and Serbia.
At the show, Konnect will highlight its VCI films, sustainable flexible packaging, and graphene-enhanced innovations. These products, now export-ready under streamlined customs procedures, target the EU customer base in sectors such as automotive packaging, steel, and defence.
A key highlight of the event will be the soft launch of graphene-enhanced packaging films. These films are engineered for superior barrier properties and recyclability, reflecting the company's R&D focus on lightweight, eco-friendly materials and advanced chemicals for corrosion protection.
“Our focus is on networking for exports to Europe via our affiliate, UAB Konnect Packaging Europe,” said Parth Chandra, managing partner at Konnect Packaging International LLP. “Interpack 2026 is our platform to benchmark against global leaders and secure EU contracts that are essential for scaling from India to Europe,” he added.
The company's USP lies in its cost-effective, customisable VCI packaging that prevents rust without the use of oils, offering protection two to five times longer than traditional methods. Regarding manufacturing compliance, Konnect adheres to ISO 9001:2015 and BIS standards, ensuring full RoHS and REACH compliance for its export markets.
Looking ahead, Chandra plans to announce a strategic partnership for EU distribution through the company's Lithuanian entity. The move aims to double EU exports by the end of 2026 while upgrading facilities for Industry 4.0 compliance. “Indian manufacturers are ready to partner globally for innovative, compliant solutions. We invite the industry to join us at Hall 7a, C10 to collaborate for a circular future,” Chandra added.
