New CEO to be appointed of Pepsico for the Middle East unit

Pepsico today announced a leadership transition in its executive team. Ahmed El Sheikh, currently CEO for PepsiCo India will move on to assume new responsibilities within Pepsico as the CEO for the Middle East business unit as of March 2024.

Ahmed El Sheikh will move on to assume new responsibilities within Pepsico as of March 2024

Pepsico today announced a leadership transition in its executive team. Ahmed El Sheikh, currently CEO for PepsiCo India will move on to assume new responsibilities within Pepsico as the CEO for the Middle East business unit as of March 2024. Jagrut Kotecha, currently chief commercial officer for Pepsico in Africa, Middle East, and South Asia (AMESA) will assume the role of CEO for Pepsico in his place.  
In 2023, PepsiCo India continued to deliver financial results accelerating its transformation journey.  This achievement underscores the company's understanding of the Indian market, its approach to product development, and efficient distribution strategies.
