PackMach 2023: Om Gajanan ups safety quotient in shrink packaging

Pune-based Om Gajanan Packaging manufacturer displays its packaging portfolio at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi on the eve of PackMach Asia Expo 2023. The Group is a manufacturer, importer and exporter of shrink/sleeve and corrugation solutions.

Vilas Bisne, director, Om Gajanan Packaging (OGP) says, “It is seen most often, the operators of the machine are not technically sound and versed with its working. Our machine serves them the advantage of easy operation. Safety has been our emphasis while manufacturing.”

At the stall, OGP displayed a chamber type shrink wrapping machine; fully automatic L-sealer with electronic tunnel; table-top vacuum packing machine.

The company focuses on providing innovative solutions while catering to end-of-line applications, which includes water filling, carbonated drinks filling, wine filling for PET, glass, aluminium containers. With expertise in food and beverage packaging, OGP looks at PackMach Asia Expo in concurrence with drink technology India as an opportunity to cater to a wider segment and establish a good foothold.

Also, bagasse-based containers are showcased at the stall. OGP also offers packaging solutions, which are compostable and contribute as sustainable offering.

“At the PackMach Asia Expo show, we have upgraded safety features for our shrink wrapping machines. We seek to develop features continuously, with primary focus on safety,” said Vilas Bisne.

On the packaging scenario in India, Vilas Bhisne said, “The Indian machinery manufacturers primarily cater to the domestic sector. Although some big players have reached out to the international market, small companies must up their ante and cater huge.”

The company had exhibited at the last edition of the PackMach show, and the response prompted it to participate in the current edition too. Two days, and it has witnessed a couple of genuine discussions again, and it looks forward to it positively.
