Ambrish Bhargava, chairman of XPRT, at PackMach Asia Expo 2023

Ambrish Bhargava, chairman, XPRT talks about recent additions ranging from the in-line zip applicator, brick pack machine, lined carton packing machine, jar packing line to vertical form-fill-seal machine at the PackMack show.

The brand incorporated a spectrum of advanced features that caters to the evolving demand of the packaging industry. XPRT machines provide versatility in operation and speed.

Bhargava emphasised, “Over 70-80 years in the packaging industry, our commitment and dedication to the field are unwavering. PackMach is not just an event for us, it holds immense significance. It’s a testament to our enduring relationship with partnering machine manufacturers and the packaging fraternity.”

He further added that having observed the evolution of the packaging industry in this nation for over half a century, I have seen tremendous change and advancements. However with growth comes responsibility, it is alarming to note that out of our national waste, a significant 30% is attributed to food packaging alone.

Bhargava believes the surge in footfall is a result of awareness being created in the market. And, there is a long way for the industry to prosper. Given the food packaging industry has immense potential, start-ups must adhere to standards and foster among themselves.
