Surya Global Flexi Films commissions BOPE line from Bruckner

Bruckner’s unique hybrid system, the 8.7-m line, can produce both polypropylene and polyethylene films. “We are very pleased about this significant milestone – both for Surya Global and its positive development as a film manufacturer, as well as for the Indian market, which is taking an important step towards more sustainable plastics processing,” Johann Kreilinger, head of sales, Middle East, Subcontinent and Africa at Bruckner Maschinenbau.
 
Mono-material packaging made from biaxially oriented polyethylene films (BOPE) already offers an excellent solution for the circular economy. They utilise a widely available PE recycling stream and are characterised by high puncture and tensile strength; good seal strength; and high stiffness for optimal stability.
