Taurus Packaging marks 30 years alongside founder Rajesh Jain’s 70th birthday

Taurus Packaging celebrated 30 years in the flexible packaging industry alongside founder Rajesh Jain’s 70th birthday at an event held at Crowne Plaza, Okhla, New Delhi.

The celebration brought together more than 300 industry leaders, partners, customers, and employees to commemorate the company’s growth journey and Jain’s contribution to India’s packaging industry.

The evening was led by Chetan Jain, managing director and CEO of Taurus Packaging, and hosted by Priyanka Jain. The programme featured a presentation tracing the company’s three-decade journey and its evolution under the leadership of Rajesh Jain.

The event also included an employee tribute video for the chairman and a presentation outlining the company’s future vision and growth plans.

Speaking at the event, Rajesh Jain thanked customers, partners, and employees for supporting the company’s expansion over the past three decades.

Founded in 1995, Taurus Packaging began as a packaging materials trading business before expanding into manufacturing and printing operations. The company entered the printing industry in 2006 and installed North India’s first CI-flexo press as part of its expansion into shrink sleeve and flexible packaging.

Over the years, Taurus introduced multiple packaging formats to the Indian market, including OPS shrink sleeves, LDPET stretch sleeves, LDPET shrink sleeves, and PLA shrink sleeves.

Today, Taurus Packaging supplies shrink sleeves, labels, and flexible packaging products across sectors including home care, personal care, food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, dairy, healthcare, and telecom.

The company operates offices in Delhi, Noida, Mumbai, Bangalore, Dubai, Lusaka, and Toronto, and supplies more than 1.7-billion shrink sleeves annually across three continents.

The celebration also highlighted Taurus Packaging’s continued focus on innovation, customer service, and packaging technology within the Indian flexible packaging industry.
